70 STEPS is a production company based in Stuttgart, Germany, developing and (co-) producing fiction and documentary to explore unique perspectives.
Their current slate includes projects by breakout filmmakers as well as established directors, from Germany and beyond. Be it upcoming Anti-War feature “Thousand Yard Stare” by Ari Folman (Waltz with Bashir; Golden Globe Winner), the trans-cultural lovestory “She Makes and Unmakes” (Jonas Bak, Wood and Water; Berlinale '21), Payal Sethis Debut Feature “Kurinji” (Berlinale Talents Kompagnon Fellowship, Goa Film Bazaar Award) or Uta Berias “Tear Gas” (2 WIP Awards, IFFR ’25) – the focus is always on strong artistic expression audiences around the world will be drawn to.
